finally ive found a trick to bypass youtube's automatic shorts play algorithm. this is a simple link holder app. so i added links that ship me directly to where i want to be ie. search, watch later or playlist. no more getting lost in shorts for hours and then thinking "why did i open this?" saving hours of my time.
