Todays hands-on was brought to you by @Skittles and weathering and erosion! With some water and some time, weathering, erosion, and deposition are easily demonstrated to our fifth-graders!
Today we demonstrated how rocks are formed through some tasty treats! RockCorn represented our Metamorphic rocks due to heat and pressure and Magic Shell chocolate fudge represented our Igneous rocks magma cooling!

We are so excited to be the recipients of a $250 garden grant from Palm Beach County Farm Bureau! We will certainly put the money to good use and plant all new native Florida fruits + veggies, in addition to teaching the students all about Florida agriculture! #ThankAFarmer
