I commend the Supreme Court and the judiciary for preserving our democracy and preventing anti democratic elements within and around the Tinubu government from destroying our country. President Tinubu must also be commended for resisting the pressure of all the sycophants around him. Even with a united opposition, I don’t see them defeating Tinubu. The shameless anti democratic acts carried out to embarrass Nigeria was avoidable. The best time they had to defeat Tinubu was in 2023 but they kept fooling around.

I have noticed that many people are tagging me in posts about a scholar who placed a bounty on a pastor who publicly insulted our master, our revered Prophet (SAW). I understand that addressing such a sensitive issue without proper context and thoughtful explanation is inadequate. In the meantime, let me be very clear that both actions are wrong. The pastor should not have insulted our Prophet (SAW), while fully aware of the deep reverence Muslims have for him and how strongly they hold his honor. At the same time, the scholar was also wrong to take matters into his own hands, the appropriate course of action would have been to report the matter to the authorities and allow the law to take its course.

Likewise, one who has chosen traditional spirituality or another path should own it boldly, without hiding behind the label of Islam. If your "Islam" includes what Saheed Osupa openly practices and defends, then by the standards of orthodox Islam, you are not a Muslim, you are upon kufr. Own your choice with integrity. Hypocrisy benefits no one. May Allah guide us all to the truth, grant steadfastness to those who are sincere upon Tawhid, and protect our faith. May He guide whoever seeks what is best and grant every soul the grace to die upon what they genuinely believe. Āmīn.
