Seniors should not be priced out of a house they already paid for because the area around them got more expensive. They didn’t suddenly get richer because Zillow says the house is worth more. Most of them are living on fixed income, paying higher insurance, higher utilities, higher groceries, and then the tax bill shows up like they somehow got a raise. People can argue all day about how to fund schools and services, and that part does matter. But making older homeowners keep rebuying the same house every year through property taxes is exactly why so many people feel like ownership is never really ownership.

Others, who don’t own a house, don’t pay property tax. Targeted taxes are inherently unfair. Fund the services with other taxes, with greater participation.

For any Democrats who are upset about this, I hope you’ll be just as upset about “sanctuary” states and cities refusing to enforce federal immigration law.

Cept Democrats hate oil companies and low gas prices are not a priority…
So even if high gas prices continue…democrats are hardly in a great position to benefit…

Ossoff: I am hearing from Republicans who come up to me on the street, or they approach me at the airport, or maybe they have my number and they give me a call, and they're telling me that they are voting for a Democrat for the first time this year because they've just had enough.
The abuses of power, the blatant self-enrichment and corruption, while the American people face all-time high prices for rent and groceries and a meal out at a restaurant and the power bill — the people have had enough. And I believe that a mighty wave is building to rebuke these abuses of power and to restore checks and balances.

There are psychological reasons to these things and if healthcare was free or affordable to all Americans then we could combat this and decrease the mortality rate.
Nobody deserves to suffer when oftentimes lifestyle is forced on us due to situations we don’t chose consciously.

We need to tax agentic AI more than workers. Our tax code provides bonus depreciation for AI but is stacked against human ingenuity. It makes no sense to provide tax breaks for capital in a capital biased world.
