The only constants aren’t death and taxes. It’s choice and stress. Both are good and powerful tools. Both are difficult to master. Choose your stress.

@TallKP @Jason @RoKhanna Yes when I’m trying to fill a bucket with water that has a hole on the bottom I don’t worry about fixing the hole I just keep adding water.

@Jason @RoKhanna "You can't take an immediately actionable step until you go through the slow process to fix a much more complex problem." Nirvana fallacy, preconditionalism, and concern trolling. Coincidentally, Jason continues to benefit and others suffer while you try to fix that problem.

1. Strange bedfellows 2. If you spend a year auditing California and violently eliminating fraud @RoKhanna, you would have the high ground in this discussion. .... but no one wants to pour more water into the leaky bucket that is government spending.

In that case, are you willing to pay a modest trillionaire & billionaire tax to pay for checks to working families? We could start with the modest $3000 check @BernieSanders and I have proposed for families under $150,000?

Hey @elonmusk, I really hope you see this message and look into it. I think every 2024 Foundation Series Cybertruck and all Cybertrucks after should get the 7 year / 70,000 mile high priced propulsion related warranty retroactively applied. A lot of early Foundation Series owners had their trucks plagued with issues. Many of us still believe in the future of the truck and we're holding on to ours and encouraging others to buy. Early FS owners didn't get free Supercharging like later FS owners did. And now with this extended warranty for 2026 Cybertrucks and newer, that's why you're seeing comments about early owners feeling like they got screwed. No customer should ever feel like that after a purchase. I personally had 2 Cybertrucks with PCS and other major failures that made the vehicle completely inoperable. I still kept my truck because it's the best truck ever made and Tesla has fixed the reliability issues on newer models. Other automakers frequently extend warranty coverage retroactively through Warranty Extension Programs or Special Coverage when widespread issues come up. Tesla should do the same. This would show future customers that Tesla stands behind every single product they sell, no matter what. The Tesla I've come to know has always taken care of its customers. I truly hope you do right by early Cybertruck owners too. @cybertruck @Tesla @tesla_na

The Cybertruck Guy@cybrtrkguy

Cybertruck model year 2026 and newer have expanded warranties for the powertrain, that include everything from the PCS to voltage controllers to the charge port. It’s literally called the “High-Cost Propulsion-Related” Warranty. Covers the parts for 7 years / 70k miles

1. Swalwell did some very unsavory stuff, and I find it a little confusing that his wife is still his wife, but that's between them. 2. I can imagine some voters voting against him in future elections because of this unsavoriness, but, of course, the voters have been cut out of the equation. 3. Are we missing something? All these women are adults. No one did anything illegal. Definitely inappropriate, crude, wrong. But illegal? Why are we acting as if he blindfolded and raped -- actually raped -- an underage girl behind an alley in the dark of night? If it comes out in the future that there was more to this story, then we should proceed accordingly. But for now, this all feels just a tad overwrought. 4. People keep talking about "justice." Maybe. But real justice demands truth, and we're not getting much of that right now. The truth is the timing of this whole scandal smells awful, with en election six weeks away, and everyone knows it; it's inconceivable that did not play a big role here. Aren't some (most?) of his accusers "content creators," meaning influencers -- people whose livelihoods depend on clicks, shares, *attention*? Why aren't we bothered by the fact that, just months ago, one or more of his accusers were still posting go-Eric-go content? It feels like the public is being manipulated. 5. The Democrats. My God these people roll over like a bunch of pinstriped mannequins. They're terrified of being perceived as in any way having abetted Swalwell's crimes against humanity, so they feel compelled to denounce him with a great, uncontrollable fervor. Never mind that many of the denouncers are, one imagines, guilty of any number of their own indiscretions. 6. The silver lining. It's hard to imagine that Swalwell would have been the transformative governor California desperately needs. Gavin Newsom was lobbying on his behalf, which is why, presumably, the congressman landed the endorsements of the major public-sector unions -- meaning he would have been unable to do much about the state's subpar schools or tackle its budget woes or deregulate an economy suffocating under the weight of decades of pay to play regulation c/o the environmentalists, the plaintiff's bar, etc. Nor would he have held Newsom to account as the now-governor launches his White House bid. There is a chance -- slim but not exactly remote -- that something constructive comes of all of this.

NEW: If Waymo gets its way, 2 million workers will be out of work. When Waymo gets a firm hold on a city, wages go down. Some drivers now have to work 12 hours day, 7 days a week just to get by. This isn't inevitable — but Big Tech is spending millions to make you think it is.

I am suspending my campaign for Governor. To my family, staff, friends, and supporters, I am deeply sorry for mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past. I will fight the serious, false allegations that have been made — but that’s my fight, not a campaign’s.

The San Francisco-born small business, Philz Coffee, just lost its community values after being bought out. Now owned by private equity firm Freeman Spogli, Philz is no longer allowed to display pride flags. This sad moment highlights the critical importance of locally-rooted businesses that support and understand the communities they serve, including the LGBTQ community.

I’m sorry, I loathe Eric Swalwell, but you shouldn’t be allowed to destroy a man’s career with a sex abuse allegation without at least… -A lawsuit/criminal charge -Public ID -Publicly providing alleged electronic communications (unclear here) -Not having TWO very drunk “rapes”

So basically she began a sexting relationship which then progressed to roadside blow jobs Then she got drunk and fucked him, got upset because he “distanced from her,” then panicked because she cheated on her boyfriend for a guy who didn’t care about her Then to make herself feel better she decided because she was really drunk it must’ve been “rape” even though he was also probably just as drunk Now at a politically opportune moment, when the press would be willing to air her story, because they want a progressive or because they’re worried about too many Dems splitting the vote and helping a Republican win, she decides go public and ruin him Got it

Meeting with Epstein survivors has taught me how much trauma survivors endure and how much courage it takes for them to speak up. No one in a position of power should be allowed to act above the law or with impunity. It doesn’t matter what office you hold, how wealthy you are, or which political party you align with. The same rules must apply to Eric Swalwell. There must be the appropriate law enforcement investigations and House ethics investigations. He must be held accountable. There cannot be two tiers of justice in this nation.

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.
