@HisWattson Top tier full stacks will try to mow down any lobby, no matter what the system looks like. Only way to get competitive lobbies is by having tight matchmaking and up to 20 min queue times for pred lobbies.

the old dropship is genuinely better but the reason the algs one feels better is becuase it moves the round 2 6 squads to round 3 6 squads by pushing people further apart. people wouldnt need to be pushed further apart if ranked was designed to give you a competitive experience. its designed to addict you. not for you to have fun. the only problem apex ranked has is there is not enough punishment for dying. dropship, cheaters, meta are all a drop in the bucket. ranked will always suck no matter what if dying is irrelevant. which it has been for 3 years. arguing about irrelevant stuff like this just makes it easier for them to ignore the serious problems.

Hey legends! Based on previous matchmaking tests, we've made some adjustments to Ranked lobbies as we approach the end of the season. The new changes include increasing the maximum matchmaking wait time for Masters players. With this season's player populations, Masters players will be restricted to matching only down to Diamond 3. Note: if you're in a premade squad, matchmaking will continue to take into account the member with the highest Ranked tier on your team. Let us know how your games feel!

Will be taking a break from competing in this game. long story short, feels like this game been on a steady decline for the past year or two and I been enjoying it less and less. Gun and Legend meta been horrible for quite some time and every update makes the games worse (cheaters, servers, Kings canyon!!! broken/stupid abilities or guns). Additionally I just started Uni so Ill be focusing more on IRL as competing takes up alot of time. Ill still be playing casually and try to stream as much as I can. It was quite a nice journey I had competing in this game, I met alot of great people and acquired some dad lore I guess. Might make a comeback in the future, but I doubt it since the environment is quite toxic and people grief each other by ruining their own practice, inting scrimms and ego battling at every chance they get, just to get rolled by alliance again (this region is cooked). Also someone pick up friqz, this guy is by far the best teammate I ever played with @PlayApex
