Impanuro Girls Initiative

Together with @NUDOR_Rw , and in partnership with @amplifyfund , we’re excited to launch IMBIBI; a project designed to break the barriers that young people with compounded vulnerabilities face in accessing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services.

Happy Thursday Besties! Did you know? Each week, over 150 girls and young women in @Gasabo_District , @Nyarugenge , @BugeseraDistr , @KireheDistrict , and @RuhangoDistrict come together through our Icyizere VSLA project to save, support one another, and grow. #GirlsAreAble

This morning was a good one! We had the pleasure of hosting Karisimbi Shallon and Viateur Bicali from @DiDe_Rwanda , an organisation working to support vulnerable communities across Rwanda. We love meeting people who are just as passionate about impact as we are!

@Bwiza_initiativ Absolutely! Access to comprehensive sexuality education is a game-changer for young people. It builds knowledge, confidence, agency, and the skills for adolescents to make safe, informed choices.

These findings reinforce the importance of comprehensive sexuality education in empowering young people to make informed decisions. Expanding access and ensuring quality implementation can make an even greater difference.

Our Field Officer represented @impanuro during the Family Promotion and GBV Prevention & Response Sub-Cluster field visit organized by @RwandaGender in @RuhangoDistrict . At IGI, we are committed to working with partners to strengthen systems that protect girls and young women.

Hello SRHR Champions! Did you know? UNFPA data from East and Southern Africa shows that about 60% of Comprehensive sexuality education programs positively influence at least one positive outcome including fewer unplanned pregnancies.

Hello besties! Did you know that menstrual pain that disrupts your daily life is not “normal.” Severe cramps, pain that makes you miss school or work, or pain that doesn’t improve with usual pain relief could be a sign of endometriosis . Pain should never be normalized.
