Everyone’s clowning Chet and his All-NBA selection with the “four points” thing, but you guys understand he’s a DEFENSIVE player right? He was given that award for his defense. Not sure why everyone’s being obtuse about that. What other honor could you give a great defender?

Couple things that I want to make special note of. 1) Jaylon Tyson, a big win in Gansey's draft history. Gansey was high on his rebounding on draft night. Has translated into a good two-way positional rebounder in the NBA. 2) Dean Wade, Gansey identified him as a UDFA. He's been a regular starter for the Cavs for a while now and is an unrestricted free agent this summer coming off a ~$6.6 million salary this past season. Would be a decent fit in Philly. 3) Keon Ellis, who the Cavs got in the De'Andre Hunter deal, is a UFA this summer and may be affordable.

In an effort to “incentivize winning,” the NBA created a lottery system which adds significant incentive to tank a *postseason game*. For teams in the 7 vs. 8 play-in game, it will be clearly beneficial to lose if you don’t have a reasonable shot to win a playoff series. Great!

By far the worst slop we get every year is when a random front office exec is like "Grikes will probably get the MLE, and I guess it'll probably be the Sixers, but we'll see" and it turns into "REPORT: Quentin Grimes likely to re-sign with the Sixers for the MLE"

Phone-recorded football clips often look absurdly fast after social media compression because the motion gets distorted. Hollywood Brown looks like he’s moving at 1.25x speed here. It would look fast in person, but much more natural. This happens especially on YouTube highlights and can lead people to wondering why a player isn’t as fast as they thought they were.
