The same govt that can’t control pollution is charging 18% GST on air purifiers. First they choke you, then they tax you for breathing. Crores wasted on water-sprinkling photo-ops, bogus cloud-seeding and PR stunts but clean air? That’s a luxury item now.

3:30 PM, school pickup: 20 cars with AC on, parents scrolling phones Waiting 30 minutes for gate to open School is 800 meters from most homes. We're raising kids who think walking is poverty. Then wonder why they have diabetes at 25. The cycle you're creating will kill them.

It’s Agonising. And depressing. @PMOIndia Sir please intervene proactively. “I live in Indirapuram, and the AQI is 587 right now. I have not sent my child to school inspite of teachers messages. I have written a firm mail to the principal. Whatever is in my area of control I will do that’

Our Government sends us reminders daily to file ITR on time. Why can’t we send similar message to authorities when we see a pothole? "Dear Government, there’s a pothole on Ring Road. Please check it here (Google Map link)" Accountability should be two-way in a Democracy!

Collect all the city's garbage and dump it on every politician's doorstep, maybe then they'll finally get a whiff of the mess they've created.

₹2,50,500 per year for Class XI. ₹1,78,500 even for Nursery. Dear Shameless Politicians, After paying lakhs and lakhs in taxes, is this what education has become in India? You collect 31.2% income tax, hefty GST, and a dozen other taxes, yet can’t even ensure free, quality education for taxpayers’ children. Stop calling yourselves leaders, you’re just revenue slaves serving the rich. Even the so-called educated politicians at the Centre behave like obedient servants to their political masters. 🇮🇳 India is ruined to the core.

Every second person in Delhi is down with a fever , headache or a sore throat. In any other country, this would trigger a climate emergency. But in India, value of a common man’s life is even cheaper than a cattle.

Another year of paying an 8 figure tax, yet what I get - potholes & speed breakers which hit the underbelly of your car. It hits like a punch in the guts. Our inner city roads and maintenance is probably the only interface with the govt. For the rest you depend on private players.

Amazon is laying off 14,000 employees, including in India, as AI takes over their roles. The cruel part is how fragile private sector “stability” is. You get a job, start earning, feel settled, plan a future, buy a house on EMI, and one fine morning the company decides to “downsize”. Suddenly, you’re jobless. If a new job doesn’t come quickly, those EMIs can destroy your peace and your life. And the govt! While you earn, you must pay taxes. The moment you lose your job, you’re on your own. Farmers get compensation when crops fail, despite many paying zero income tax, but a taxpayer losing his job gets practically nothing. Maybe it's time to introduce reforms like make EMI pauses for few months more liberal for those who lose their jobs, and providing a time-bound monthly allowance for few months from the govt, except for disciplinary cases of course. Ladla/Ladlis can get free money, free ration, free water and electricity, so why not support a worker who has been paying taxes and contributing?

I need to go back home this Diwali. Flight tickets that used to cost around ₹4.5k are now ₹13.5k. You can’t even get train tickets, tatkal gets sold out in just 3 minutes. If I decide to go by bike or car for these 2000 kilometres, road conditions in India are terrible. This is Modi’s new India where common people can’t even celebrate Diwali at their home. Pathetic

EPFO now thinks your own money is a luxury. You work for years. Every month, a part of your salary is forcefully deducted as PF, no choice, no say. Earlier, if you weren’t employed for 2 months, you could withdraw your PF. Now they’ve made it 12 months. And pension withdrawal? 36 months. So if you lose your job today, you can’t touch your own money for a year. How is this fair? You save because they force you to, and when you actually need it, they lock it away. This isn’t reform. It’s bureaucratic cruelty against employees.

Oil lobby is saying that during rains and washing, water can enter your fuel tank. Even a small amount can attract ethanol and separate it from petrol into a distinct layer, making cars/bikes difficult to start or causing jerks while driving. Oil lobby further says that’s why you should periodically get your petrol tank cleaned, from your own money, of course. I think this is the latest toolkit from the oil lobby to malign Nitin Gadkari ji. Videsh se funding aayi lagti hai. I’ll wait for experts like TikTokers and reel-makers who’ll make skits to educate us that water doesn’t remove ethanol from petrol, yeh deep state ki saazish hai.

The stampede broke out at 7 :45 pm in Karur and within 4½ hours, Joseph Vijay was back at his home in Chennai, 390 km away. So, while families of victims were reeling in shock, Vijay had rushed home, tucked safely into comfort. Most likely, he slept peacefully, even if the PR team says he's in shock, surrounded by family and staff, who would have soothed him as if he were the victim. And the so-called “fans”? They were the ones lying on the ground, gasping for air, being trampled, or waiting in hospital corridors. That’s always the place reserved for the cattle class, to bleed, to die, to mourn, while the superstar you worship can't even stay 24 hours with them. Yet tomorrow you’ll again throng his rallies, risk your life for a glimpse, and call it devotion. When will you finally understand that in this equation, your life is expendable, his image is not?
