The old standalone Codex was fantastic. Since moving into the @ChatGPTapp desktop app, my productivity has dropped off a cliff. Same PC. Same internet. Same repos. After the update: 100-line edits take 1–2+ hours. Web Codex is fast. Desktop Codex is painfully slow. @OpenAI
