The most underrated act of kindness is simply letting people be. Let them mispronounce a word, talk too much about a show they love, or get excited about something you don't quite understand. Everyone has something that lights them up, let them shine, even if it's not your thing.

Blender - oxidation and heat (dull flavour) Cutting - preserves cell structure (intense and sharp heat) Mortar and pestle - crushes cells to release essential oils and utilizes the presence of biofilm for depth.

I just realized that pepper tastes different depending on how you cut it. If you cut it with your hand, it tastes different from using blender and that’s a different taste from using mortar to pound it.

I'm sure you did not know a lot more GMOs are being imported into Nigeria, and used in producing many of the things you eat very frequently ON A DAILY BASIS. Below is a list of companies, what they produce, and the GMO they import and what they use it for. This is not exhaustive; it's a start. All these products are supposed be labeled GENETICALLY ENGINEERED but @fccpcnigeria has failed woefully in protecting Nigerians, @NafdacAgency has not enforced anything labeling, @BiosafetyNig has been rubbering stamping sickness and all sorts into this country. 2024/2025, we focused on GMOs being cultivated in Nigeria; maize, beans and cotton. Now, we are entering the main, ignored part. @drfatima84 we have a lot of work to do.

Pray that you don’t live with fellow tenants that don’t like pumping water. There’s nothing as irritating and agitating like co tenants who will watch light stay on and won’t near the pumping machine.

This reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend recently who works as a construction manager in Ottawa. He came to Nigeria for a few days and made a remark I’ll never forget. He said that in the one week that he’s been around, he hasn’t seen a single straight line on any building and I was just at a loss for words..
Kêmjī@itsmrkemji

The construction industry in Nigeria is at an all time low honestly. Having a drink and I just looked out at this building across and their isnt a single straight line or squared edge in this building.

Say no more. Nigerian babies are fed sugar-packed Cerelac while European babies get the same brand with zero added sugar. The same culprit? Nestlé. Ultimately, NAFDAC is to be held responsible. Their mandate is to protect the health of Nigerians and they are failing at it.

If you want to live a life free of constant hospital visits & crushing hospital bills, avoid any product by Nestlé. Their entire company has always been built of profit before people. Do your research on their controversies in Africa, if you doubt me

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@BidemiAdebayo3 Okay, you usually have to list out how much power they consume. e.g a 1hp AC would take maybe 900watts, laptop would have it's own too maybe 200watts. You can get the sum of their power draw and subtract from the 5,000 watts of the battery.
