Megachurch pastor Andy Stanley announced today that the church he leads, NPC Church in Atlanta, Georgia, will be suspending in-person services through the end of the year. Stanley says the bottom line to church members is the simple fact that “we cannot guarantee your safety.”

This is a defining moment for us as as churches and citizens to decide whether we want to be one nation under God or a divided nation apart from God. If we don’t answer that question right and if we don’t answer it quickly, we won’t be much of a nation at all.

20 years ago today, college students gathered from across the nation and around the world for #OneDay2000. At Shelby Farms, near Memphis, TN thousands met to pray, worship and pursue Jesus.

Needless to say, some very significant seeds were planted on May 20, 2000 & the days surrounding it. Thank you @louiegiglio & @shelleygiglio for your vision, faithfulness, & creativity throughout it all! So much of my life, faith, & career can be traced back to that one day.

I was there! And it was unforgettable. Passion had such a huge impact on the faith of my 20s. And the creativity I saw in their productions back then ignited a flame in me that still hasn’t died. (Also, that day was the very 1st time I ever saw/heard @BethMooreLPM preach!) 🙌🏼🔥🙏🏼

@stephenproctor Thank You, Father. And thank you, @stephenproctor for being my son. For hearing His drum beat. For taking “the road less traveled” which often leads to close encounters w/ our Lord. (But that doesn’t include the one leading to that bridge in NewZealand where you bungee jump!) ❤️

I wonder where I’d be today without that truth. And I wonder who I’d be today without my mom. She has shown me what it means to be Christ-like (or at least strive to be) in some of the most quiet & humblest of ways. I am so proud to be her son.

I’ve been reflecting a lot today on all the wonderful & timeless things my mama @inProctor has taught me (& continues to teach me.) I won’t share all of them in this moment, except for one. And I think it’s one of the main reasons i still have faith & trust in God.
