@LorcaDamon In 9th grade I had a teacher w/a *pronounced* Boston accent & I got words wrong on a dictated cold list of spelling words as a result & I remember being enraged & arguing w/her to no avail.

@thecachinnator This is such a lovely thing to say about your partner. ❤️

@IntegrityTeach Aww. Thank you for the advice. I have another dog (a rescue who was just getting into a good groove) who is confused, regressing, lost & grieving hard, which makes this all the sadder. The hardest part of having a pet is the goodbye. 💔Sounds like you know this drill well.

@heymrsbond I make massive “main dish salads” which can be reused as sides over 2-3 nights, while changing up the protein. We also grill lots of veggies @ beginning of week & use in different ways: w/pasta 1 night; in a burrito another night, on a pizza a 3rd night.

@RBottowski @vigneshr4m @punishedmother Doesn’t count? What on earth are you talking about? My niece is extremely pro life. She was hospitalized & hoping beyond hope to make it to viability. She couldn’t & was in extreme danger. Thus, abortion was her only life-saving option.
English

@in_providence @vigneshr4m @punishedmother Preclampsia kills the baby/ doesn’t count. It can be dragged out to 30 plus weeks at which point an effort can be made to try to deliver the baby. That’s the key thing here, ATTEMPT should always be MADE. It USUALLY won’t/ might not succeed but make it when at all possible
English

@RBottowski @vigneshr4m @punishedmother Actually YOU are lying or, benefit of the doubt, you’re misinformed. My niece had to have an abortion @ 16-17 wks bc she had rapidly progressing preeclampsia.
English

@vigneshr4m @punishedmother Those aren’t abortions and anyone who told you they were lied. Preclampsia happens when the baby is viable. Deliver the baby, you don’t have to kill it
English

@sisterinferior @phamnuwen2 YOU do not get to “ALLOW” anyone.

@Bobby_Don_Welch My parents adopted a 16 year old beagle 3 years ago at the start of the pandemic. They were told she had 6 months max. 3 years later, age 19, she’s still here & has helped my mom survive my dad’s death. Here she is on the beach a few weeks ago.

What a great story, huh? From a friend. ❤️❤️❤️
Yesterday I adopted the oldest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.
Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog.
He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again.
Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.
Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us.
From a dad who saved a soul📷

@GregCasar @CrnchyMama @GregAbbott_TX Dunning-Krueger Times - I almost feel sorry for @GregAbbott_TX rn 🤣🤣 (almost)
English

.@GregAbbott_TX just accidentally posted a satire article because he wants to hate on queer Texans and Garth Brooks so bad.
The Texas Country Jamboree doesn’t exist. Hambriston, Texas is not real. And the Governor is not fit to tweet, much less govern.
Happy pride! 🏳️🌈

@ponygirl923 I blocked it relentlessly and it finally disappeared. I was offended by its sheer hideousness!
English

@fncmullin @remembrancermx Confession: I still gag when I smell the perfume I used to wear in my 1st trimester w/my oldest, now in college.
English

@Carlson0509 @HilaryShhh @MorgainePen1 @Karmatrumpsgod I agree w/you that the difference is what the person carrying the baby wants. Pregnancy & birth are really, really difficult for most of us. Wanting a child makes all the difference in our ability to endure.
English

@Carlson0509 @HilaryShhh @MorgainePen1 @Karmatrumpsgod We see it differently: a *potential* life is being ended. It’s hard to muster sympathy for something the size of a cherry pit, lacking in sentience, above the agency of a sentient human being who does not want to undergo the painful, protracted process that is gestation & birth.
English

@Carlson0509 @HilaryShhh @MorgainePen1 @Karmatrumpsgod You are very wrong here. Abortion rates have been falling since mid-90s. pewresearch.org/short-reads/20…

English

@remembrancermx Ugh. I am so sorry. This happened to my sister and 16 years later if anyone mentions it she STILL gags. It does a real number on your mental health to be that nauseated for that long. It WILL pass but in the meantime, I’m sending you strength & best wishes for some relief.
