Pierre Poilievre represented Canada well on the Joe Rogan Experience. Kept to his classy rule about not criticizing the Prime Minister on foreign soil, provided important context to soften the perceived harsh edges of policies that have - often unfairly - generated outrage among some in the U.S., and emphasized Canadian unity. Quite well done.

Until a year or so ago, Poilievre was the Prince Across the Atlantic – a punchy and pugnacious Conservative would who had united his party around a popular and populist message of more housebuilding, tackling inflation and championing those working-class voters that Canada’s Liberals had taken for granted for too long. He built a hefty lead over Justin Trudeau and topped the polls among young voters.
