गोंडी भाषा भारत की प्रमुख प्राचीन आदिवासी भाषाओं में से एक है, जो देश के कई राज्य मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, महाराष्ट्र, तेलंगाना और आंध्र प्रदेश में बोली जाती है। ये भाषा गोंड जनजाति की सांस्कृतिक परंपराओं, लोक कथाओं और ज्ञान की वाहक रही है। एक अध्ययन के अनुसार गोंडी भाषा बोलने वालों की संख्या करीब 1.30 करोड़ है। लेकिन इसे संविधान की 8वीं अनुसूची में शामिल नहीं किया गया है। इसके कारण भाषा का संरक्षण और संवर्धन नहीं हो पा रहा है। गोंडी भाषा को संवैधानिक मान्यता देना आवश्यक है, जिससे आदिवासी समाज की सांस्कृतिक विरासत को संरक्षित करने के साथ उनके आत्मसम्मान और पहचान को सुदृढ़ किया जा सकेगा। मेरा आग्रह है कि गोंडी भाषा को संविधान की 8वीं अनुसूची में शामिल करने की दिशा में कदम उठाए जाएं। : राज्यसभा में @digvijaya_28 जी

Election Commission is the BJP, and BJP is the Election Commission. There should be no doubt about it whatsoever. A letter was issued by the Election Commission with BJP's stamp. After much furore, the Election Commission admitted the mistake and suspended the officer involved. But then, the same Election Commission sent notices through the Kerala Police to those who had shared the letter on social media. If the mistake had been accepted, then what is the point of notices issued to all? This is clear proof of a nexus between the BJP and the LDF in Kerala. What was the BJP's seal doing inside the Election Commission’s office? Is the Election Commission now issuing documents on behalf of the BJP? Why do all such so-called “mistakes” only happen in favour of the BJP? Whenever any tampering or error has been caught in EVMs till date, why does the vote always go to the BJP? Why don’t such “mistakes” ever happen in favour of the Congress, or other opposition parties? This is not just about a stamp or a seal. This is about the trust on which our electoral democracy is built. बिहार एक मुश्किल चुनौती का सामना कर रहा है, जहां बाढ़ और सूखे की समस्या साथ-साथ है। उत्तर बिहार में कोसी, गंडक और बागमती जैसी नदियां हर साल भारी मात्रा में पानी लेकर आती हैं, और गंगा नदी से भी बिहार के मैदानी इलाके जलमग्न हो जाते हैं। तो वहीं मध्य और दक्षिण बिहार के जिलों में सिंचाई के साधनों का गंभीर अभाव है और किसानों को सिंचाई के लिए बारिश पर निर्भर रहना पड़ता है। इस असंतुलन को दूर करने के लिए राज्य में नदियों को जोड़ने और नहरों के माध्यम से अतिरिक्त पानी को अभाव वाले क्षेत्रों तक पहुंचाने की आवश्यकता है। मेरा आग्रह है कि बिहार में नदियों की इंटरलिंकिंग की दिशा में काम किया जाए और नेशनल रिवर लिंकिंग के तहत प्राथमिकता दी जाए। : राज्यसभा में @akhileshPdsingh जी

The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026, which presents as a reform, is in reality a retreat from constitutional morality, judicial guidance and the hard-fought rights of one of the most marginalized communities in our country. The transgender community in India has endured centuries of exclusion, stigma and violence. Any law that claims to protect them must be expansive, inclusive and rooted in dignity. The most alarming feature of this Bill is the complete removal of the definition of a transgender person as it exists in the 2019 Act. This Amendment Bill exposes the government’s inadequate and insensitive understanding of the transgender community. This Bill is not only against human being. The decisions we make in this House will shape the lives of countless individuals. I urge the government to withdraw the Bill or at least refer it to the Parliamentary Standing Committee for detailed examination. : @AdvtSudha ji in Lok Sabha

The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026, before the House seeks to amend the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019. At first glance, the government presents this amendment as an administrative correction. But when the provisions are read carefully, it becomes evident that the Bill risks rolling back the hard-won constitutional rights of one of the most marginalized communities in our country - the transgender community. In the NALSA judgment, the Hon'ble Supreme Court delivered a historic verdict, stating that a transgender person must be recognized as a third gender and enjoy full constitutional protection. Yet, this Amendment Bill now proposes a system where identity must effectively be validated through medical authorities and administrative certification. I ask the government: are we legislating against the spirit of our own Supreme Court? The Constitution does not grant dignity through a certificate. By narrowing the definition of transgender persons and placing identity under bureaucratic verification, this amendment risks transforming a constitutional right into an administrative privilege. 👉The Bill should not have been introduced without establishing an expert committee. 👉Consult the transgender community, stakeholders, and civil society before passing such amendments, and uphold the spirit of the Constitution and the landmark NALSA judgment. : Adv. देश का संविधान सभी को समानता का अधिकार देता है, इसके बावजूद भी इस ट्रांसजेंडर व्यक्ति संशोधन विधेयक, 2026 में भेदभाव को बढ़ावा देने का काम किया गया है। उनकी स्वतंत्रता पर नियंत्रण रखने का तरीका इस बिल में है। ⦁ इस बिल के सेक्शन 2 में ट्रांसजेंडर्स की परिभाषा को बदल दिया गया है, नई परिभाषा में उन्हें बायोलॉजिकल और मेडिकल आधार पर सीमित कर दिया है। ⦁ ये बिल व्यक्ति की अपनी पहचान को मान्यता नहीं देता है और LGBTQ समुदाय को इस कानून के दायरे से बाहर कर देता है। ⦁ इस बिल में उनके लिए रोजगार की उपलब्धता नहीं है ⦁ समाज में उन्हें अलग नजरिए से देखा जाता है, तो उन्हें घर नहीं मिलते हैं, इसका भी बिल में कोई जिक्र नहीं है ट्रांसजेंडर्स को सम्मान के साथ जीने का अधिकार मिलना चाहिए। : लोकसभा में @shyamkumarbarve जी

I really think it’s unfortunate that they are not sending it to the Standing Committee. What the community feels is that this Bill is going to obliterate their identity, and therefore it was very important that they should have been consulted, and that this Bill being brought forward should have been passed after proper consultation. I think it’s very unfair that the entire community feels they have not been consulted, and that such a big decision is being taken in their context. 👉 I oppose the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026, as this bill was introduced in Parliament without due consultation with transgender persons and other stakeholders. This itself shows the callous attitude of the Modi government. 👉 This Bill is not a reform; it is a regression. It takes away what the Constitution and the Supreme Court of India have already guaranteed. The Bill deletes the right to self-determination. 👉 Many transgender persons have already spoken about the immense barriers they face in securing a simple ID card. By adding more bureaucratic hurdles, we are not protecting them; we are exhausting them into invisibility. 👉 The Bill must be referred to the Standing Committee for detailed and inclusive consultation with the transgender community and all stakeholders. The 20-minute statement by Prime Minister Modi in the Rajya Sabha was, at best, an exercise in obfuscation. We seek clear answers to three fundamental questions: First, through his inconsistent and swinging diplomatic posture, the Prime Minister appears to have altered the balance of India’s strategic autonomy; long a cornerstone of our foreign policy across successive governments. Following his recent visit to Israel, India has faced visible diplomatic consequences. Why did the Prime Minister fail to take Parliament and the nation into confidence about this apparent shift, and what concrete steps have been taken to restore India’s strategic autonomy? Second, nearly 37–40 Indian-flagged ships, carrying around 1,100 sailors, remain stranded in the Strait of Hormuz, with cargo valued at approximately ₹10,000 crore. Despite the Prime Minister personally speaking to the Iranian President twice, and the External Affairs Minister engaging multiple times with his Iranian counterpart, why has India failed to secure safe passage for its own vessels? Why are countries like China Russia, Japan, along with other “friendly nations,” being granted safe transit, while Indian ships remain stuck? Third, the Prime Minister has claimed in Parliament that India has diversified its energy imports from 27 to 41 countries. If so, which countries are currently supplying LNG, LPG, and crude oil to India, and in what quantities? More importantly, if diversification has been achieved, why are citizens still facing shortages, long queues, black marketing, and sharp price rises across the country? It has now been 25 days since the conflict began, and India is facing a deepening energy crisis, one for which the government should have been far better prepared. The Prime Minister has now likened the situation to being “Covid-like.” The nation cannot forget the tragic suffering during the pandemic, when over 40 lakh lives were lost and countless citizens were left struggling for basic necessities like oxygen. Is the Prime Minister now suggesting that 140 crore Indians must once again fend for themselves as the country stares at an escalating energy crisis, along with looming food, fertiliser, MSME, and inflationary pressures? Prime Minister Modi’s statement comes too late and raises more questions than it answers!!
