How I Reduced My AC Electricity Bill by Almost 50% (Real Experience)
Just sharing what actually worked for me. Small small changes, but together they made big differnce 👇
1) Switched to 5⭐ AC
Old LG 3⭐ used ~1600W
New Daikin 5⭐ uses ~1000W
👉 ~35–40% saving
Investment:
Sold old AC ₹10k
Bought new ₹35k
Net ₹25k
Rule: If saving covers cost in 2 yrs → go for it

3) Shade outdoor unit
Small trick, ~2–5% saving
4) Run exhaust fan before AC
10–15 min → removes hot air
5) Use fan with AC, Better air circulation
Feels cooler even at 26–27°
6) Set temp to 26–27°
No need 20–22
👉 Power drops to ~300–400W
7) Clean filters every 15 days
Dirty filter = +10–15% extra power 😳
