I was preparing a presentation for a conference and my notes were everywhere.
Notebook.
Laptop.
Phone.
Random docs.
Half-formed thoughts.
So I dumped everything into one big Word document.
Technically, it was all in one place.
But my brain still couldn’t see it.
I kept needing to draw what I was thinking. Arrows, clusters, mind maps, connections, little “wait, this belongs with that” moments.
And I remember thinking:
Why isn’t there a notes app that lets you think visually?
Something with the freedom of a mind map, but the depth of actual notes.
Kind of like Miro or Figma… but for thinking and writing, not design boards 😂
I looked for it.
Couldn’t really find the thing I wanted.
So I started building it.
That became Nodex: a visual workspace where you can dump messy thoughts, connect them, and slowly turn them into something clearer.
At first, I thought it was just how I think.
Then I realized a lot of people work this way.
People with ADHD.
Neurodivergent people.
Indie devs.
Writers.
Students.
Creatives.
Anyone whose brain doesn’t naturally move in a straight line.
Not every thought starts as a clean document.
Sometimes it starts as a mess.
Nodex is for that part.
