Finally, Indigo Gray is talking about SLIME, mining, deformation, and slimy bodies in Emile Zola’s Germinal. Gray shows how integral slime is to the origins of coal and both the mine and miners’ bodies ‘devolve’ and dissolve into mud, phlegm, water, and slime #BSLSWS2022
