Scottish taxes would be even higher — including a much higher basic rate of income tax — if it wasn’t for the multi-billion pound subsidy Scotland gets from Westminster, which pays for a lot of the extra public spending.

How can a man imprisoned for 17 years falsely be charged for his stay when released from prison. He didn’t ask to be in prison, he hadn’t done anything wrong it was a dreadful mistake by the authorities. If he had been guilty and released he wouldn’t have to pay for his bed and board. @KiaUK Does it recharge its own battery if not why not. Its a mystery to me that electric cars don't recharge themselves. After all a petrol car charges the battery so you can start it and have lights. The wheels go round so what is the problem..
