It could actually be a significant problem that Europe doesn't have enough garages. This sounds like a joke, but I'm serious. Garages let you work on stuff that doesn't matter yet, which is how big things often start. The outliers of ideas need the outliers of space.

It’s a little scary that we just cannot build big things in America anymore. We built the Empire State Building in less than a year and that was 100 years ago.

I don’t dispute your claim, but I would add that the same nonsense that is occurring now had occurred during the Biden Admin. The government seems more intent on executing its own will over the will of the people.
It also seems like people are unclear on the purpose of government with respect to a free people. People seem to think the government should pay for their antidepressants and child care as opposed to defending liberty.
