Weapon variety, weapon memorability, and the perks that affect your weapons feel better and are more fleshed out in FNV. Without CC, F4 only has 86* ranged weapons. FNV has 126* *excludes thrown weapons

I knew that when I went to school and had no idea what people were talking about most of the time if they were making internet references (which was often). I couldn’t really contribute to those conversations, which honestly sucked.

@yeatsdf @are_unimportant @GeauxGabrielle Maybe I should have specified that I didn’t have “home” internet before going to college. I used the internet at school and at friends’ houses. I also got a smart phone in 2014, but I had like 10gb of data a month which would go fast.

One of my favorite podcasters pointed at that Boomers laughed at Gen X and Millennials for not being able to do things like change oils or build houses. Millennials and Gen X laughed at them for not being able to use a computer or code. But everyone laughs at Gen Z cause they cant do either, especially since they cant read and computer interface is much more user friendly (drag and drops, etc.)

@ralsina @are_unimportant @GeauxGabrielle Yup, and I was 12 with tech illiterate parents who weren’t going to do that. Regardless, I spent plenty of time in dumps as a kid and didn’t see intact computers. They also weren’t going to buy a pirated XP license. I didn’t even have internet until I went off to college.

@ralsina @are_unimportant @GeauxGabrielle I’m 27. I grew up poor with baby boomer parents. Our one computer had Windows 98 until we got rid of it when I was 12. We only even had a computer for a while because my grandpa was good with electronics and fixed up a junk secondhand one.

@DiscussingFilm @dropout is literally the only example I ever use or can even think of when people ask if I think a company/corporation can be morally upright. They’ve had a couple slip ups in the past but there was always a quick apology and course correction. Not anymore, I guess.

@akwrins @TobermoryFelis Fair! OWB is a favorite of mine as well. Dead Money just really hits me emotionally and as an overall experience. I don’t even like horror games typically, but I loved the dip into survival horror. (Also my wife Christine is there)

i don’t think you can be called a fallout fan if you only play new vegas

@TobermoryFelis There’s nothing wrong with NV or others being your regular FO game though, even to where others are only played 𝑶𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒏. Also I put 159 hours into a NV playthrough in 21 days as of yesterday and must say Dead Money best FO DLC ever no changing my mind.

@TobermoryFelis I agree. NV is my fav FO game. IMHO, NV and 2 are the best RPGs (with emphasis on both RP and G) in the series. I also have a combined 1,111 hours (just checked) on 4 between PS and PC. It’s an amazing game in its own right. It has shortcomings that NV does not and vice versa.

@TheVaultTecInc The Enclave promised House the diode in exchange for the black box mind control technology. It’s the only thing he would trade it for. Coop getting ahold of the diode and handing it right back to the Enclave means they get both without paying.

I'm a bit confused. Hank (Enclave) was delivering this thingy to Mr. House, and then Cooper stole it from him just to give it to the President (Enclave). In the end, The Ghoul gave this thingy to Mr. House. 🤯 Logic would dictate that Hank (Enclave) would deliver this thingy to the President (Enclave), and that Coop would stop that in order to give it to Mr. House, even 200+ years later.
