
@SofaMods Non opaque visors don't make sense for combat, because we have so much tech to display the surroundings via HUD and cover the face plate with armor

One thing you notice often in this aesthetic is headgear/helmets that lack a visible visor / covered visor. I would say it combines a familiar helmet design with theoretical "near future" sci fi aesthetics that make it seem real, but not entirely.
