Divisional Commissioner Jammu @Rameshkumarias on wednesday chaired meeting to discuss the issues concerning Jammu Airport vicinity and protection from bird hazards.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu @Rameshkumarias and @igp_jammu Bhim Sen Tuti chaired a meeting to review the preparations made by the concerned departments for successful conduct of Jammu Marathon 2026. It was informed that a three day Expo from 26-28 March, 2026 shall be organized at Dushera Ground, Apsra road showcasing the rich cultural ethos of Jammu and shall host a number of stalls for visitors. The marathon shall be organized from MA Stadium Jammu, on 29, March, 2026 at 6 am in the morning in 21km, 10km and 5km categories. The Divisional Commissioner directed for visible signages for traffic diversions to avoid any inconvenience to the general public during the marathon. He asked the traffic department for a detailed traffic plan with wide publicity of the traffic advisory to the public via radio and Digital Displays across the Jammu city. The marathon would pass through all the major iconic and heritage points in Jammu city including Raghunath Bazaar, Amar Mahal, circular road near Mubarakh Mandi, Balidan Stambh, General Zorawar Singh Chowk, Apsara road, Tawi Bridge.
