A couple of the No-Tail clan mooching around by the woodland water bath.

Fleeting glimpse of a weasel (bottom right corner) followed by tree creeper hunting the old wall followed by a worm hunting badger.

Nice to see my book amongst some of the best. Particularly 'Through the Badger Gate' by Jane Ratcliffe. Jane was a good friend & a pioneer of badger protection. Also,'Badgers' by Ernest Neal. His notes to me are tucked away in his book on my shelf.

The dog otter followed by a few of the Nutter clan & finally, a pair of Mandarin ducks.

The 1st of my 4 talks for April. Friday 10th, 7.30pm, Thornton Hough WI Hall to the Wirral branch of the Cheshire Wildlife Trust. Admission £5

@ingham_mal That’s what I was hoping. Thank you. Yes, it’s very early but I couldn’t see any discernible movement from the cub. I slowed the footage right down. Is it normal for them to be very motionless in mums mouth?

@ingham_mal Hi Mal, I seem to have captured some footage of a female potentially moving a cub, or male predation of a cub?? The cub appears quite big for time of year, 4th Feb. Do you think it’s a live cub being moved to another chamber or something else going on?

The snows gone with life back to normal at the Nutter clan sett.

The snow came on the 2nd Jan with the Nutter clan hunkering down in the sett. Still not seen on cam up to the 5th but may have emerged from other more sheltered holes.

Just chilling & collecting bedding.

@ingham_mal We were down to one badger every 4 or 5 days but we have had at least 2 for the past 2 nights. An early Christmas present......

Things are pretty quiet at this time of year in the badger world but the Nutters are still out & about albeit not quite as active.
