GPs and teams have been working hard caring for their patients every day during this pandemic. Many GPs have died as a result. When patients need to be seen they will be. It’s appalling that @NHSEI is threatening practices and not doing more to support us bbc.co.uk/news/health-54…

It's a year since I tweeted below. In that year (as per last 10 years), I have seen more investment in interop stds dev and very little improvement in data exchange. It's time to move to #openplatforms and reduce the need for interoperability. #stopchasingyourtail

But there are many other problems to solve in the overall scheme of things: clinical process, sustainable domain modelling, patient-centricity, semantic computability, computable care pathways.
