@TeachItTeachIt Excellent. Just a little tip, check the wages you are being offered. The good exchange rate at the moment makes the wages sound better in pounds so places offering lower but you have to live in Dubai! It's not cheap. I did 4 years in the UAE.

@learning_gee I enjoyed Kuwait but 3 years was enough! I went from a BSME/BSO school to another. The principals knew each other so it meant the reference was a huge part of it. I think that is important moving internationally. It's a small community and a lot of the leadership know each other.

@init4theholiday Yes. BSME, COBIS and BSO acredited. I also work at a Nord Anglia school which has helped me with professional development as I have had access to lots of courses. So... I will be looking carefully at schools. Interesting that you also worked in Kuwait!

@MrsRileyEng It depends how you use your walls. Key vocabulary and links to the topic you are currently teaching can be quite useful. As a science teacher I'm always refering to my periodic table or the equations I have on display.

@PaulGarvey4 I've been both. TA was a great way to see other teachers but also get a much better understanding of what support pupils actually need. It definitely altered my own teaching. Supply allows you to see different schools. Would COVID make the full time role the better option now?
