Theres so much to say about the physical presentation of your band and how it makes people feel and think about your music and band. ideally u can move crazy style and play incredibly at the same time but I’m just saying I’m tired of watching middle school talent show style sets

You can get away with a lot if u look cool on stage. Idk why ppl stare at their fretboards like it’s got the answer to the universe if ur playing in a chaotic or heavy band I wanna see u going nuts it will be infinitely better than hearing u play perfectly but look boring.

@inmemoryofthom My mom was born in 84, and I was born in 04. I’m older now than she was when I was born, wild to me because she was married, living with my dad and had me all before 20 and here I am at 22 nowhere near mentally ready for anything like that

Lately been measuring my life based on how old my dad was at any given time in my life. Today’s thought is I am 6 years older than he was when him and my mom bought me my very first guitar.

@hissingchoir Yeah an older friend in high school gave me Pele and I was hooked but agree on the filler. Hence Choir Girl feels like a perfect hit all the way through

@inmemoryofthom oh yeah i dont go past Venus- she gets a little too “kooky aunt” for my taste. I love everything prior, each album really fills a different need. I do think Pele would be her best album if someone had reigned her in a bit, plenty of filler there

@hissingchoir I’ll admit I stay close to mid to late 90s but still enjoy everything after. Choir Girl and the 1st disc of to Venus and back are usually always in rotation.
