@markeology I have a bird feeder that surprisingly has brought a tremendous amount of birds and nature joy to me on the days I don’t feel up to getting out in it.

Chronically ill friends: My therapist wants me to interact with nature more, but I'm not exactly up for a stroll in the woods most days, y'know? What are some low-impact things you do that connect you to nature? Houseplants? A bucket of dirt next to your bed to stick your feet in?

@WoollyWormhead Not Netflix but when I’m in between shows I tend to work along with YouTube videos of Japanese tea garden construction- just some folks working moving around rocks and trees and planting them and moss in a really amazing and relaxing way.

AHA!!! I finally tracked down the source of the faint, intermittent tap tap tapping noise that has been plaguing me for weeks! It was the new aluminum blinds barely tapping the windowsill in the light breeze of the ceiling fan. 1/2

Is there a more technical term for gaslighting, specifically the Autistic vulnerability to it? context: Someone gaslit me right before a critical event. I had to stop everything and reassess all of my perceptions to verify and confirm that their claim was untrue. Anxiety?
