@insanitiser_ua Так і основна їх подібність, що на рівні абстрактних формул вони мислять марксистською логікою. Виділяють людей за певною груповою ознакою, знаходять антагонізм та його підсилюють і намагаються вирішити проблему за допомогою дискримінації сильнішої сторони. Взять і отобрать.

На скріні класична пастка ліволіберальної ідеології. Їх логіка "виправити" дискримінацію не через забезпечення рівності можливостей, а через іншу дискримінацію. Це буквально те, що пропонує й марксизм. Вони не далеко втекли від комуністів.

Читав до речі, що насправді більшість населення Самарканда розмовляло саме таджицькою (перською) мовою, але при визначенні кордонів республік віднесли його до Узбекистану бо осередок партії большевиків був сильнішим саме серед узбеків

@APapakin Ну це геть різні речі. Більшу частину часу в РІ українською можна було друкувати тільки ярижкою, як на фото. "Пімсти" - це нетиповий ікавізм, перехід [o] в [і] у місці, де в сучасній літературній мові воно не переходить. Найсмішніший приклад останнього - "слін".

Нагадало, як твітерські бороли слово "пімсти" з декалогу ОУН. Насправді ж, це поширений варіант правопису того часу. Шевченко в т.ч. таким за життя видавав твори. Кулішівка, до якої ми звикли, не була єдиним правописом на початку ХХ століття

When discussing differences in social status and background, people usually use the word “privilege” or “privileged.” I don’t particularly like this word, because by definition a privilege is something GRANTED by an outside force: the state, society, and so on. Even now, I still struggle to call some hypothetical Vasya “privileged” when his grandfather was an orphan who spent his whole life working in a factory, managed to get a tiny one-room apartment on the outskirts of Moscow, and now Vasya is supposedly “privileged”. Modern definitions of privilege were not exactly invented in Eastern Europe. :) But I’m not going to argue about terminology right now. What I discovered later in life is that I have a rather unusual privilege: the privilege of a good example, and the privilege of constant exposure to people with realized leadership qualities. And now, at almost 40, I understand that this is more powerful than financial, national, social, or many other kinds of privilege. Because, for example, it was obvious that as an immigrant in Belgium, I couldn’t rely on anyone from Russia to help me integrate into society. There were no connections here, nobody here knows who my heroic great-grandfather Chkalov was either, and we certainly did not have the money to buy our way into the universal international society of the ultra-rich. So starting in 2013, we had to build everything from scratch – as immigrants usually do, especially in a country with unfamiliar or only vaguely familiar languages and culture. The first time I truly felt this family-given superpower was when I applied to graduate school. There were 30 applicants per spot (technically 60 applicants for two positions within one project), and after the standard exams and test assignment, I had to go through an in-person interview with two professors. And that’s when I realized that talking to “higher-ranking” people in any organization comes EASILY to me. Even if I am nervous beforehand, the moment I walk into the room, I feel completely at ease. I immediately command attention, people listen to me without interrupting, and so on. Later I discovered that this worked not only in academia but in business as well, which is why my American management used to drag me into every possible meeting with partner companies’ CEOs and CTOs – because with me there, we were guaranteed to be heard. And why is that? Because I grew up surrounded by people with fulfilled leadership ambitions. Those people started from very different places in life, due to differences in background and all sorts of destructive events like wars, total economic restructuring, and so on. As a child and teenager, it was not that simple for me, because basically every family dinner had the same intensity as that graduate school interview. Psychologically speaking, childhood and youth were not easy for me at all. But it paid off enormously in adult life. That is a real privilege. One that can carry you through life even without money, even in a foreign country. I can’t fully express how grateful I am for this superpower – the ability to speak as an equal with any authority figure, all the way up to rectors, ministers, and generals. Especially considering that, by the way, there are no rectors, ministers, or generals among my relatives. 😅 It’s a state of mind.

@ZhangTaisu The technology is developing in a way that favours more complex drone and anti-drone systems. This, along with mass production, will give advantage to more developed nations. The only question is whether they would need a war to start applying their advantages.

In the future, we might look back at the rise of cheap, weaponized drones as a watershed moment in human geopolitics: in both Ukraine and Iran, it may have given smaller countries a measure of real military deterrence that previously was only available to large nuclear powers…

Zelenskyy has held back far too long. It is time Ukraine: 1) Foments uprisings in Belarus by sending the 2 Belarusian volunteer battalions covertly into Belarus. 2) Jointly with Moldova destroy the Russian Transdniestr puppet enclave. 3) Destroy Russia's central presidential and governmental centres.

@insanitiser_ua @Noahpinion I would say that the Russians are anything but well trained, disciplined and devoted. Rape, torture, plunder should be a side quest tempered by command but for them it's the main drive. The Romans knew how to do that too but they wanted to rule and integrate the conquered.

People fighting for their lives, their homes, and their families are always going to fight harder than people fighting for imperial dreams of conquest, rape, and plunder.
