In 2025, foreign direct investment in Kosovo reached over €1 billion, increasing by €238.2 million, or 30%, compared to 2024. 💭Which countries contributed the most to these investments? 🏢Which sector receives the largest share of foreign direct investment?

📈During 2025, remittances in Kosovo reached 1.4 billion euros, marking an increase of 59 million euros (+4%) compared to 2024.

📊Kosovo’s overall trade balance in goods and services remains negative at approximately €3.8 billion, marking a deterioration of about 8.6% compared to 2024. 📉 This reflects a faster increase in the value of goods imports relative to the growth in services exports.

Kosovo’s ICT sector has generated over €1 billion in exports in just the past three years. 💶📈

In 2025, Kosovo’s service exports were dominated by: ✈️ Travel services - €2.8B (+16%) 💻 ICT services – €398.2M (+14%) 📊 Other business services - €272.5M (+4%) 🚚 Transport services – €191.3M (+30%)

📊 2025: Kosovo exported €3.9bn in services and imported €1.7bn, resulting in a positive trade balance of €2.2bn. For every €1 exported, only €0.44 was imported—one of the strongest ratios in the region.
