So is a good thing or a bad thing that Look Poor is a thing? I’d argue that people probably benefit from getting information reworked in new ways. I tried reading The Psychology of Money…this is how it went:

When you zoom out you see dozens of YouTubers all making the same Look Poor video. But your average viewer just sees the version most suited to their digital fingerprint- information repackaged by their own personal Avatar. TV was about mass media. YouTube is about niche media.

@AlexAndBooks_ Naked Economics by Charles Wheelan. Does a great job of showing how economists think
