As bad as Oakland is, I take BART to the Colesium and the air train to the airport and is usually don’t have issues but I travel light (backpack only) I don’t bother renting cars there though. Horrible selection and rows of returns with smashed windows. 🤦🏻‍♂️

@rstone57 @thomashawk That is ridiculous. Oakland airport and the roads leading to it are safe. There are shitty parts of Oakland, but the airport isn't one of them.
