I'm floored that the vast minority of people I interview send thank you emails. Like 1-2 out of 10.
Back when I was interviewing for jobs, it was one of the biggest faux pas to not send a thank you email. Like instant disqualification.
Has conventional etiquette just changed? Is it just a generational thing? Very curious.

This is absolutely heartbreaking…
Jahlani Tavai’s partner, Kalei Mau, says she had been found unresponsive in her bed and placed in a medically induced coma for 6 days — Mau was 6 months pregnant at the time with their second baby girl, Ka ua, but unfortunately their baby passed away due to the medical complications.
Mau wrote on Instagram:
“GOD IS THE TRUTH AND IM HIS LIVING PROOF. I am so grateful for my life and my purpose is now more clear than ever. Been to heaven and back to love on my loved ones a little longer and to live for God and my baby angel Ka ua Tavai
Thank you for all the prayers & Aloha. Thank you to all the incredible doctors & loving nurses at Mass General hospital that help save my life. Thank you to my New England Patriots family for supporting us every way you could, this is such a special team I'm honored to be a part of. Thank you to my Ohana for staying hopeful, having faith, being strong for me, & never leaving my side. I love you all so very much. I'm home now healing and still processing but with a grateful heart.
God bless & Aloha always 🫶🏽”
Tavai did not play in New England’s Week 12 game after being ruled out for personal reasons, and his teammates were constantly showing support throughout the time he was absent.
Massive prayers out to Jahlani, Kalei, and their family 💙❤️

They Called It the Big Three, But We Remember the Four.
In 2007, Boston rewrote its story. Paul Pierce stayed when it was hardest. Kevin Garnett brought intensity the city had missed since the days of Russell. Ray Allen added the sweetest shooting stroke in the league. And Rajon Rondo, fearless and unshaken, tied it all together.
That season, the Celtics went from 24 wins to 66. From rebuilding to resurrected. From hopeful to historic.
And finally, Banner 17. A championship fifteen years in the making.
Mitchell & Ness brings back the 2007–08 Boston Celtics jerseys in Authentic silhouettes at mitchellandness.com, tomorrow.

I can’t put into words what it means to see my son wear the green and white of the Boston Celtics.
Since a boy, Luka's been a Fan. For us, it’s not just about 🏀, it’s about legacy & being part of something bigger than yourself.
Every summer, Luka and I focus on areas where he needs growth. Many times this involves 3-4 workouts/day, the majority w/o the 🏀;
Luka’s body transformation, improvements on defense, strength, hand speed, along w/mental work, reflect this.
Most people overlook Luka's growth & judge quickly based on his NPOY days. To know Luka is to understand his resilience and continual transformation; you can't count him out ever.
We’re blessed. We’re grateful. And above all, we’re proud to be part of the Celtics family.💚🦚 @NoaDalzell @AdamTaylorNBA @ByJayKing @JaredWeissNBA @John_Karalis @KeithSmithNBA @BrianTRobb @RealBobManning @Marc_DAmico @bostonianindc2 @dubbz8122017 @WNBALead @RichEvans108 @BiHBasketball @CelticsMuse @taylorcsnow @NIKNBAYT

Booked 4 new meetings last week while still being able to hold 10 calls. Each week, I follow the same operating rhythm. Steal my 3 bucket framework:
1. Prospecting bucket:
-Choose 5 net-new accounts
-Find 3-5 contacts at each account
-Develop 5 POVs for each account for why you want to reach out
-Send 15-20 relevant & tailored emails, make 15-20 dials and send 15-20 LinkedIn connection requests
*your numbers will look different based on your sales math, segment, etc. Figure out how many prospects you need to contact based on your own conversion rates & territory
2. Active deal bucket:
-Audit existing pipeline and de risk by asking "what is the friction in this deal and what could go wrong?"
-Leverage AI to help me craft all of my follow ups via CoPilot prompt (comment & LMK if you want my prompt)
-Send 1 multi-threading email to each deal when applicable
-Send 1 value touch to each champion when applicable
-Hold customer/prospect calls & set next steps live
3. Low hanging fruit bucket:
-Reach out to recent closed/lost opps
-Reach out to all people who have recently changed jobs from a past customer
-Reach out to all MQLs at target accounts
-Find new warm intros from Sales Navigator
We can't control a lot in sales, but we can also control a lot!
Nearly impossible not to have a productive week if you fill each of these 3 buckets!

You need to know how to sell and how to cold call effectively for the sake of pushing your own life along tbh
Just for the sake of getting answer
“We’ll get back to you”
NEVER HAPPENS
YOU need to be the proactive one
If I want a job I’m calling a hiring manager, VP, CRO whatever and telling them why they need me
Realize that all of these companies have COUNTLESS people reaching out to them
If you call a hiring manager or a VP of that department, and can genuinely articulate why you’ll be a benefit for their company - it’s gonna open a lot more doors up for you
Trust me on this, primo

Here are my stats from my first 5 months as an SDR
Look how many dials I made
Understand this
You are not going to succeed in sales unless you work hard
And clearly you can see when I started, I was not as good
As time went on, I got better, and drastically increased my dial to demo after making an extremely high volume of calls
I also have realized after talking to @TechSalesMerc in more detail
Community really needs our experience and help
I’m going to be putting out a lot more content in the coming days on how to crush quota, hit your numbers, and master the phones (ACTUAL PHONE SKILLS)
I will likely be making video content as well soon so for those with less experience you can see how to ACTUALLY book meetings
I owe it to the community / career that has given me so much so far
Hope I can genuinely help some of you guys out there
I really just realized I feel like I’m doing a disservice by not putting more effort into my content and stuff I’m trying to teach
More to come soon -
