the best way to address it is to leave expensive tickets unsold, but between fomo, the willingness of some to overextend their budget for a once-in-a-lifetime show, + the general tiktokification of concerts, this doesn’t happen nearly as often as it should

how can anyone justify paying £360 for a singular seated ticket for any artist if you're paying that they're just laughing in your face & taking the piss out of you

I miss when concerts were fun and casual and not sign up for a credit card to maybe get number 200k in a presale to buy a $600 upper bowl ticket for a show a year a way on a tour for an album that hasn’t been released don’t forget your $400 hotel room and $500 flight to get there
