Just had our first visit from a sales rep at the pub. I didn't realise old fashioned stuff like that still happened... Fortunately from a brewery I really dislike, so it was short lived at least 😁

@RogerProtzBeer Investment owned pub Co's do not help the system. They pay less for the beer delivered by the brewery and then charge double to the landlord/landlady and have clauses in the contract to fine you if caught talking prices. You self invoice etc and have to wait 49 days to he paid 🤷‍♂️

I've talked about it before but @RoostersBrewCo Ragged Point is a beer that we should all be drinking more of. A "West Coast Stout" that is my favourite bitter dark beer on cask. Drink more of it

Frankly if the news that Carlsberg is cutting it's ABV after Fosters did the same doesn't bring this country to the streets with the same anger you see in France, this country is a lost hope. The nation of progress, modernity, universal suffrage accepting ABV cuts. For shame.

@tabamatu They dropped it from 4% to 3.8% without changing abv and got there pants down. After market leaders pointed it out. The people drink it don’t really care is the honest truth. The beer industry is heading to war time Abvs for mass produced.

There we go. It'll cost HMRC millions in lost revenue.
