I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.

Public disorder is a long tradition on the left and right of politics, and many protests/demos have involved arrests and convictions. The left in particular tends to be more violent. Lots of cases. They serve no purpose in my view, but I don't like to see a one-sided finger-pointing exercise. Personally, I can't stand Unite the Kingdom, and I think Danny Tommo is a misguided, troubled guy.

@intrepidlance @SangitaMyska He was first convicted in 2016 for attempted kidnapping and was sentenced to two years in prison. That's 10 years to turn over a new leaf. But here he is, seemingly inciting public disorder.

The irony here is both Starmer and Tommy are preaching the same message of uniting everyone in Britain regardless of race.
They both love Diversity and liberal democracy.
