In 2005, I read The Singularity Is Near by Ray Kurzweil. Back then it felt distant. Today it feels like we have already crossed a line. Not a sudden break, but a quiet shift in what we assume about intelligence, work, and ourselves. The future did not arrive. It stopped waiting.

"The Modern Emoluments and Malfeasance Enforcement (MEME) Act would prohibit the president, vice president, members of Congress, senior executive branch officials and their spouses and dependent children from issuing, sponsoring or endorsing a security, future, commodity or digital asset."

One fun thing to do with AI is to tell it a feature you’re brainstorming and have it write a product requirements doc. You’ll instantly figure out if it seems like a good idea and what the issues are. AI just accelerates everything.

Very cool! In the very near future, autonomous vehicles will detect potholes and road damage in real time, instantly uploading coordinates, video, and photos. Autonomous road crews will then be dispatched immediately, fixing issues in hours instead of weeks or months. Less damage, lower costs, and safer roads.
