Breaking | French President Emmanuel Macron says France is in talks with international partners, especially UN Security Council members, to explore creating a UN framework to manage the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
He added that discussions on forming an international naval coalition to secure transit through the strait are still in the exploratory stage.
Macron emphasized that while the initiative could help ease tensions, it cannot succeed through France alone.
He also called for maintaining global oil and gas production capacities to prevent economic shocks and urged a temporary halt to strikes on energy infrastructure to mitigate the crisis’s impact.
