CARDANO STABLECOINS, SECURITIES AND REAL WORLD ASSETS UPDATE ✨ After more than a year of work, our talented group is currently finalizing the standard for Cardano programmable assets 👀 The CIP-113 officially sets a standard to have interoperable securities, RWA, and stablecoins compatible with Cardano DeFi! Here's a quick explanation of how it works: 1) Every user automatically gets a smart account, derived from his stake credentials 2) In the smart account, tokens can freely be transferred and managed as you normally do with native tokens but they cannot exit the smart account 3) If native tokens accidentally end up in your smart account you can send them outside of it with a normal transaction 4) An on-chain registry keeps track of all the existing programmable assets with all the info needed to use them 5) An on-chain list keeps track of all users state, for example if they are blacklisted or whitelisted 6) Anybody can create a programmable token with custom rules. The wallets will automatically be able to see and manage it 7) A library for DeFi is in the making to abstract the programmable tokens logic for all dApps, so they don't have to change their logic. 8) @FluidTokens lending and @MinswapDEX will be the first dApps fully supporting this standard 9) @finest_tokenize is going to tokenize stocks and other securities through this standard 10) Stablecoins like USDC can freeze users and pause all transfers in case of need 11) Mixed transactions with native and programmable tokens are easy 12) CIP-113 is much safer than Ethereum ERC20 as you don't need to delegate your tokens to dApps that could get hacked 13) This final version of CIP-113 is a merge of CIP-113 and CIP-143 14) Co-authors of this standard are: @MicheleHarmonic @phil_uplc @0xMetamatt @elraulito 15) Expect this CIP fully operational within Q1 2025 😎 2025 will be a blast for Cardano and this standard will unlock many awaited use cases 🪙
