@the_umingmak @ProtonVPN Hi @the_umingmak , We release updates every month, normally on the first Monday of the month, on our Kickstarter, IndieGoGo and Discord as well as update preorder customers via email. Today the update will be going out. I hope this helps.

@ProtonVPN @invizbox this company seems to have gone AWOL… no updates on pro model delivery timeline despite taking pre-orders 🤔

@adrianweckler Irish company here that uses meet. It works well across all platforms (we're a Linux house and teams and zoom are both moderate on Linux) and has local dial in for basically every country we work with.

@Atomix105 @ProtonVPN This is an issue with all network devices, including your ISP modem/router, and is caused by the processor being able to compute the encryption/decryption. We've addressed this with the InvizBox 2 Pro which we expect to be able to achieve up to 1Gbps.

@invizbox @ProtonVPN It’s one device connection with a max speed per device. So if multiple separate devices are being funneled into a single device VPN connection. It would have to be artificially throttles through the vpn’s server. Causing a slowdown on all devices?

@Atomix105 @ProtonVPN This is called contention (which I always use cars on the motorway analogy - Too many cars means traffic jams). Unfortunately this does happen, however there are 4 connections on the InvizBox 2 and this means you can choose 4 different regions to remove contention issues.

@Atomix105 @ProtonVPN Device limits and VPN on devices which cannot typically have VPNs installed on (like a console). Typically VPNs have a device limit (normally between 5-10), however the InvizBox only counts as 1 device. Additionally, the InvizBox provides VPN protection for any wifi device.

@invizbox @ProtonVPN I do have a question though, if many devices now days have their own VPN software. What would be my motivation to buy external hardware? I would like some kind of Compare&Contrast of VPN software vs Hardware

@VizibleDarkness @ProtonVPN Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. The vast majority of our customers are very happy. If you would like to drop me a DM I'd be happy to see what I can personally do to sort your problem (this is the CEO responding currently) or it may help improve our service.

With ProtonMail, only you have access to your data. But your security is only as strong as your password. For peace of mind, we recommend using a strong password and safely backing it up with a password manager like KeePass. Which password manager are you using, and why?
