Just because you charge more doesn’t mean it’s better. Invoice Goat was born to compete with products like yours that price gouge hard working service men and women. We could/should charge way more than $60/yr but we’re not trying to rip people off. Most of my family and friends are blue collar so I know my roots. Last week we onboarded a 7-figure electrician 15 years in the industry, he loves it. Btw I haven’t knocked your product, only your price. There’s plenty of room for both of us in the industry.

Just because your product is $60/year doesn’t mean it is better suited for beginners. Your service is built for invoicing — not for running or operating a home service business through. Better get to building if you want to try to compete on price because your single service platform isn’t even close to what we offer. Your competing in the wrong space don’t pretend to be a solution when you offer “AI invoicing. That’s not even 1 thousandth of what’s needed to run a successful home service business

Met with a cleaning biz owner doing less than $5K/month — no systems whatsoever in place. Said he’s scared to pick a CRM because “WHEN I hit $200K/month, I’ll have to switch.” Brother… you’re not even at $10K yet. Pick something or stay stuck there forever 😭

You reach nirvana as soon as you realize 99% of your local competitors run a far shittier operation than you do

Your product is expensive, especially billing that 13th period (every 4 weeks vs every month) totaling $1261/yr for the lowest tier. We charge $60 flat. Maybe we’re better suited for someone getting started, and then they can eventually grow into your platform. One of our early adopters is actually a cleaning company that contracts with hotels and bills out multiple subs every week. Many tools in the toolbox, people just have to find the right one for them. We’re also growing by adding features people ask for, I wouldn’t say scheduling is off the table.

Looks like an awesome software for billing/invoices but for home service companies you need a scheduling software. For example I use @scheduledrop which offers mobile/web apps for admins and providers, scheduling, customer portal, messaging/calling/emails, automated notifications, invoicing, reporting, provider scorecard.
