@ip_atusah14 @realDonaldTrump They have already capitulate. He is saving face domestically. He will topple Cuba to look strong. All of what you said has already happened. Israel and time are the only things to complete a regime change. These are facts.

Sigining an agreement with the regime occupying Iran is betraying over 46,000 Iranians who sacrificed their lives to get rid of this regime and reach freedom. When the entire world was against you @realDonaldTrump, Iranians gave you an incredible chance to create an unforgettable legacy in the world history and be remembered as the best US president: creating permanent peace in the Middle East by ending the radical terrorist regime occupying Iran and helping with establishment of a pro-US pro-Israel secular democracy in Iran under the leadership of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. Yet, you failed this opportunity and now you are betraying them. What is the use of your huge military budget if you can't defeat a bunch of terrorist with no navy, no air force, and a shattered economy? @POTUS @SecRubio

@ip_atusah14 @realDonaldTrump The U.S. munitions are seriously depleted. The war is highly unpopular but he can save face. Like I said the US cant complete a regime change. Too many other issues taking priority which is why it’s over. It’s rather clear. I never said Israel cant but it will take time

@ip_atusah14 @realDonaldTrump They have a navy & air force. Those are lies. The allies can’t be protected. The U.S. bases couldn’t be protected. e allies are getting blown up. This is no secret. They are already turning elsewhere. But if he tries military action Iran will destroy them. This no regime Change.

If the US capitulates in front a bunch of terrorists with zero navy, zero air force, zero air defense, zero internal legitimacy, and an absolutely shattered economy, no one, neither friends nor enemies, will ever take the US serious. So number one is to save the face of the "superpower." I don't discuss what China does seeing this weakness. Regional allies like Saudi Arabia and UAE who see this weakness will turn elsewhere for their security. So effectively the US will loose all its regional allies in the Middle East plus turning Iranian people, the most pro-US pro-Israel nation in the region similar to other countries of the region where anti-US sentiments are strong. This effectively makes any perspective of peace impossible until several decades to come. Additionally, He can absolutely achieve regime change, he must simply allow Israel to do its job. He failed regime change in the previous round, because of his perception that he is the best at deal making, preventing Isreal from continuing to target check-points and numerous other oppression and propaganda aparatus of the regime. So number two is to leave behind a legacy of permanent peace in the Middle East.

@ip_atusah14 @realDonaldTrump Like what? Will it save the mid terms? Will it save his legacy? No and no. He knows he can’t get a regime change although he says he has already created one. So to save face he has to save his political legacy. He doesn’t care about the Iranian people, unfortunately.

“They made it explicitly clear that no American money would be transferred to Iran from the US in any way, shape, or form (no pallets of cash).” It is Iran’s blocked money so sure it is not “American money”, it was not American money when Obama sent it. Next!
Andrew Kolvet@AndrewKolvet

JUST IN - Was on a background media group call regarding details of the Iran peace deal. A senior administration official confirms the deal is around 90-95% ironed out. They made it explicitly clear that no American money would be transferred to Iran from the US in any way, shape, or form (no pallets of cash). What does Iran get? Possible sanctions relief. But the framework of the deal, per this official, mandates there will be no relief without Iranians making good on their end of the bargain first. “No dust, no dollars” meaning if Iranians meet their obligations as outlined in the deal to give up their enriched uranium, then sanctions would be partially relieved. If the Strait is opened without tolls or harassments of shipping vessels, the US will end the blockade and there would be additional relief, etc.: “If they don’t deliver on their commitments, then they don’t get anything. We’ve set up enforcement mechanisms.” The official also ripped thr notion this is anything like the JCPOA, which gave Iranians pallets of actual cash, allowed them to stockpile enriched uranium in the first place (which is partly how we got here) and contained no actual, practical enforcement mechanisms. What changed the Iranians thinking making them more amenable to a deal? Unclear if military or economic pressure was most persuasive. But the official confirms Iranians are talking in depth and in detail about getting rid of their enriched stockpiles and stopping enrichment in ways they haven’t been willing to discuss before. They have acknowledged that’s something they now have to give on. The broader overarching goal is to empower the moderate elements of Iran to overpower the influence of the hardliners. “We have high confidence that we have a good understanding of their command structure.” Moderates may not be in control yet, hardliners are still there, but they are “ascendant.” The official says returning back to the blockade or a military posture remains on the table if talks breakdown.

US is offering sanctions relief for the regime to reopen the strait. Clear?

Give money to the regime so moderates become stronger, with the exception that the moderates these people are relying on are hardline IRGC generals. Absolute nonsense!

It would have been far more honorable, politically savvy, and aligned with U.S. national interests if the administration had come to the American people and said: “We can reopen the strait, dismantle the nuclear program, and destroy the regime’s military and repression apparatus. But doing so would require several more weeks of military operations, higher fuel prices, and the deployment of some ground forces. Our polls show the American public is not willing to bear those costs. Therefore, we are halting military operations and pursuing a diplomatic option, hoping to bring down the oil price and resolve the issue without further use of force. But it is highly unlikely that we can compel the regime to accept at the negotiating table what we were unwilling to impose on the battlefield. At best, this approach kicks the can down the road and leaves the problem for future presidents and future generations to deal with. Thank you for your attention to this matter.” I believe the American people would have appreciated the honesty and being treated like adults.

If Washington could not dismantle regime’s nuclear program when it had military and financial leverage, good luck doing it when both are gone. And US is losing all the leverage for what? So Persian Gulf countries can sell oil at lower price to China and Europe instead of them buying it at a higher price from the US. And there is and will be no talk of missile program, terrorism, or human rights.
