Have not seen anyone post THE ABSOLUTE SICKEST Fire Emblem remix to ever exist thanks to Dragalia Lost. FE did not do alot of crossovers into other games so this was such a special treat and they went feral with this song.

@277yen It’s the system they use. I overheard one of them explaining cause the system charges USD they do it- why don’t they use square?

Stripe lets you make a QR code and charge in a different currency, the customers just have to scan and input the amount and pay via their own phones, its tedious but much better than having customers pay international card fees and risk getting chargebacks

to international artists selling at conventions like smash in australia: you can register PayID through Wise and customers can pay you AUD through your linked email. alternatively, stripe allows you to create QR codes and payment links in all supported currencies.

I also kinda wanna add a little more to the convo. I don't at all think it is good practice to state what is basically false prices. A lot of the stories being discussed about Smash vendors are incredibly shady and I hope it gets sorted out. I did see some talk about additional fees and- I know that it feels like vendors are springing these things on you but I think some of it is because of what NA is like. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, so to me, whatever price is listed is what I always expected to pay. In NA it is not like that. There is the price, and then when you get to the cashier they tell you the tax added on + whatever card processing fees. In restaurants or any services you also have the 15-25% expected tip 😂 I think there is a bit of a cultural difference here...and obviously foreigners coming in to do business should learn to adapt to the place they wanna make money in. I'm just saying -some- of the cases are likely not malicious.

Holy shit the comments on this 💦 People are so audacious 😭 How do you charge when it's cash purchase then...? Do they convert?? Or is there a huge difference between card and cash???
