What inpatient specialty is the nicest and most helpful in your experience? Honestly, for me, it’s radiology. They are always so chill and happy to take the time to explain studies and help me learn 💯

@EShlomovitz @IRadr1 This is awesome. It’s so interesting to see the wide diversity in perc hepatibili work. Is that an endoscopic stent that you used (same ones they use for cystgastrostomys) . Why did you elect this option vs transcystic/pap stent

A big thank you to my incredible colleagues who contributed their expertise, time, and efforts to our study on Percutaneous Cholecysto-Enteric Anastomosis (PCEA) in high-risk patients. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing team! @EShlomovitz @camilobarragan sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Our pilot study on Percutaneous Cholecysto-Enteric Anastomosis (PCEA) in high risk patients now available from @JVIRmedia - 🧵. sciencedirect.com/science/articl… Background: Lumen apposing metal stents (LAMS) have revolutionized endoscopy but not often used in Interventional Radiology.

@bhavikpatel039 @GawrysSteve My father, who was a pathologist in Egypt, worked at a gas station for 10 years when we first immigrated. Big sacrifices. I feel you…. and congrats.

@SunilNarayanMD The patient ended up developing a gastric bleed at the remnant, anastomtic leak, did an UGI yesterday, then unfortunately went into DIC and bled everywhere else. Was a very tough case diagnostically and emotionally as I built a rapport with the family

@SunilNarayanMD The whole distal end of the splenic artery was hemorrhaging in the hematoma, every time I’d plug up a distal vessel the others would extrav. I would not condone doing this, that’s why I shared it. Proximal embo is the way to go for trauma

@DHidlayVIR @TraumaSoapBoxes @ActuallyItsDr I'd be more concerned about the quality of your lanyard over the years of whipping it back and forth at the badge scanner getting through doors. But if I had to pick something on your lanyard it would be the card with the codes.
