That bombshell 1987 Met Police investigation that exposed a vile network of paedophile rings in London, interviewing over 150 boys with 653 allegations of rape, abuse, and trafficking. 20 arrests, 14 convictions – and whispers of high-profile cover-ups that reached far and wide, including ties to Richmond Upon Thames. But here's the burning question: Why aren't we ALL demanding answers from EVERY Liberal Democrat councillor and MP in Richmond Upon Thames? Their borough's children's homes pre-1990s were riddled with historical abuse scandals – kids trafficked, groomed, and shattered for life. Grafton Close? Elm Guest House links? Someone dying by suicide due to a mental illness doesn’t mean they’re weak, cowardly, or selfish. It means they were a victim. It means that as a society, we let them down. It means the medical profession failed them. It means we lost a precious life that we’re not getting back.
