@Ebube_Emechebe Anyone who passed the bar exams is not average, but ICAN is actually tougher tho.

Anyone who passed the bar exams is not average. Say something else please.

Bar exams cannot really be compared to ICAN in terms of difficulty. ICAN is miles ahead in terms of difficulty and failure rate. I know several average students who passed the Bar Finals in one sitting. You may wish to ask around.

@justcallmekome @official_Gegeh @Hathunder001 What has Makinde done since he resumed office?? I shouldn't be the one to educate you on that. You have a phone and Internet. Silly
English

@irtrak @official_Gegeh @Hathunder001 So, what has he done since he resumed office?
Your brain skipped history and geography

@justcallmekome @official_Gegeh @Hathunder001 You can't put the blame on the current governor. If others had done half of what he did, the State might have been in a better condition. Bozo
English

@official_Gegeh @Hathunder001 At least, their governor gave them a roundabout and a billboard to display adverts

@BubaL1767 @MaryRoseMalomo @_Faridah___ She doesn't know what misogyny means 😂😂. She just heard the word and has been using it inappropriately for some days now.

Nope. Women are generally hypergamous and tend to date/marry upwards. Female doctors sit at the pinnacle of the intellectual pyramid, and the pool of men at or above that is quite small.
It's either fellow doctors, engineers/lawyers/b/men doing quite well financially, or none.
Nelson Mogaka@NelsonMogaka_
The reason most female doctors are unmarried is because they spent their 20s surviving med school, while everyone else was busy dating.

An argument ensued between my colleague at work and I on Tuesday. Learned colleagues, please stay with me.
Last week, I directed one of our litigation executives (“LE”) to see to obtaining an affidavit of non-service from the Baillif so as for this my colleague to prepare an application for substituted service.
LE came back to notify us that someone told her the particular trial judge does not need an affidavit of non-service to grant the application. I said no. I took my time to explain why the affidavit of non-service remains vital for the grant of the motion and insisted same must be obtained for us to have a tidy application.
The issue was raised at our meeting on Tuesday. My colleague brought out the Lagos State rules and read a portion which suggests that the motion can be filed without an affidavit of non-service. That was strange. Anyway, I still stood my ground because in my years of preparing and arguing this kind of motion, I have always known that the affidavit of non-service must be exhibited.
As a listening Managing Partner, I said oya let’s make a deal. If the application is filed without the affidavit of non-service, she will be the one to argue the application and “bear all the consequences and opprobrium”. She reluctantly backed down😅.
For me, the provision she cited was strange even though she has a great point. I find that procedure weird, in fact. I will, however, insist that we err on the side of surpluses. I would rather stick to what has consistently worked for us rather than gamble my luck in the hands of a judge whose temperament we are yet to know and at a time law school externs are in court, taking notes.
What are your thoughts?
