@conorsen I think many at the City of Atlanta want us to think this is all MARTA is capable of delivering and to stop pushes for transit expansion

@conorsen Do you not think MARTA leadership reflects the City’s changing priorities? The Mayor’s office has been very clear in their support for Jonathan Hunt & Clyde Higgs canceling transit projects

Atlanta voters approved additional funding for MARTA expansion a decade ago and there has been…no transit expansion despite that funding. The blame here rests entirely with MARTA, not voters or the suburbs: ajc.com/news/2026/02/a…

I knew the Supreme Court candidates because I'm a political nerd, but I never saw an ad for any of them, and even I didn't know there were also Appeals Court races until I voted

Looks like they will redraw the SC map and move Clyburn’s constituents into newly drawn districts. Always be careful what you wish for, as many on the left wanted Clyburn gone from Congress and now he might just be.
