Disheartened (again) that the VP of @The_AAFS said that antiracism is activism and there is no room for activism in forensic anthropology because we need to be 100% objective. She contends we should re-evaluate if the field is right for us, encouraged activists to leave field.

Very disheartened that during the once yearly 3-hour Anthropology business meeting @The_AAFS yesterday, all DEI discussions were tabled, DEI suggestions shot down, and the dismantled Anthro D&I Committee's efforts were again disparaged. Sadly, it feels that the org has regressed
