My personal experience with @SadhguruJV Ji and how @ishafoundation transformed me a teenager and shaped my adulthood: It was year 2003 and I was in 10th standard and like others I wasn’t a normal kid, the aftermath of a neurological disorder which I had in 1993 was at peak and together with physical changes I was experiencing it became a psychological catastrophe for me. My parents had tried almost every medical help for me in the previous 10 years but things were worsening. Someone suggested my father to take me to @ishafoundation for learning Pranayama. Although my father was reluctant but mom was convinced so my father enrolled me into a beginner course. Well I was the youngest person in over 100+ people who attended the course and it was attended by Doctors, Engineers and many successful people in their respective careers. I honestly felt an outcast at the start and due to fear of being laughed upon due to my speech and physical disability i sat alone in the far end corner of the room. But fortunately one of the volunteers spotted me before the session started, she came and sat beside me and started chatting with me. She somehow understood my fear and told the teacher about me ( I got to know later). The teacher came and announced: “Before I start the session by welcoming you all I want to introduce you all a special participant, he is the youngest member of the group and let us all welcome him with a big round of applause, Vibhor come and sit near to me kiddo, he said further”. The people were applauding and I seriously had no clue. The female volunteer held my hand and took me to the front and made me sit near to the teacher. The entire 7-10 day course was the best thing I had ever done because I was applauded, encouraged and pampered by the people I had never seen in my life or would never see again. A 15 year old kid who was regarded as an outcast or unwanted by almost everyone except the family was the centre of the attention. The transformation it brought to my confidence as a growing teenager cannot be summarised in a few words but slowly things started improving.
