I’ve seen a lot of people who actually know puck and understand just how close this series will be, and just how physical Utah can be. But I’ve also seen a fair amount of people like this guy. I still don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing that so many people underestimate Utah the way they do. However, win or lose the series, I hope Utah goes out there and reminds the world how they got to the playoffs and why they had a better record than any damn team in the pacific too. #TusksUp

Homeless people are using dogs to test drugs for them on Skid Row in Los Angeles, California. Non-profit group Starts With One Today says dogs are being abused, thrown away, sold for drugs, neglected, and fed drugs to make sure there is no fentanyl. Animal advocates are ripping Mayor Karen Bass and other elected officials for not taking enough action. “We’re coming out here, risking our lives to help these dogs with no support from the government,” said volunteer Joey Tuccio.

We do not track votes, and we explicitly say that bipartisanship is not depolarization. I think everyone should be conservative, and I work with progressives who think everyone should be progressive. We know exactly where we agree (that we should remain Americans who love our neighbors and our enemies, and that we have fewer enemies among other Americans than we imagine) and disagree, and there is enormous trust in those relationships as a result, even as we advocate for opposite policies outside of Braver Angels. Tuesday, I argued with a colleague about mandatory vaccination during COVID, and then we hugged and joked together on our way out the door. This is the pluralistic culture that Braver Angels envisions and is seeking to create, and that's why we talk and collaborate with everyone. If you want to argue with your friends about politics and keep them as your close friends, you should join @braverangels, too.
